Detective Conan is my favorite anime since I can remember. I’ve always loved mystery/detective shows and crime solving. The show has been running for years and has countless numbers of episodes. This did start as a manga and eventually gained enough popularity to become an anime series.
Here is a little bit on the creation of a Case Closed episode.
They start with what the video calls a “scenario conference.” Where the creators sit down and discuss the overall theme and progression of the episode they are creating. Once the ideas are decided on, a storyboard gets created by the animators.
Next, the animation is processed and edited into a film. Now the animation for the episode is completed. Next, is adding the voice actors. It’s taken over to a recording studio where each character’s voice is recorded and added to the film. Final editing is done to match the dialog to the animation and the episode is completed.
